Toronto: This budding model turned actor was born and brought up in Kannur, Kerala-India. He enjoyed his childhood to the fullest in his hometown. As a teenager, he grew up watching movies and spending time with his friends and family. Fashion is something that has always inspired Manas. His socially well-connected personality enabled him to take part in several fashion shows.
After schooling, he pursued his higher studies in Mechanical Engineering at Mangalore. While Manas was in college, his modelling journey began. His prowess in the nuances of fashion made him the most wanted face on the ramp. He auditioned for a dress launching party for a retail brand and got acknowledged by other fashion icons of the day. In 2012, Manas went on being a runway fashion model for several ramp shows in Kerala – India. After his Engineering degree in 2015, this charming model wanted to scale up his career in modelling. On the other hand, he was also active on popular social media handles.
Manas knew that a well-chiselled body would fetch him an extra mile in his modelling career. Thus, ever since his passion for modelling called out to him, he was also working out consistently in the gym. His sweat and partnership with the dumbbells did not leave him with just a defined Trapezius and Lats, but also with the prestigious Mr Mangalore, King & Queen of Ocean title.
Since the inconsistency of the modelling career frustrated him, he moved to Mumbai and worked as a Production Engineer for a short span of 6 months. However, this mundane job, couldn’t hold Manas in Mumbai. Let’s say, destiny renamed as Dengue Fever, made Manas return back to his hometown.
As he was recovering from his viral load, his friends told him about the roaring opportunities in Canada. The ever-enthusiastic Manas decided to move to Canada as a student in 2017. He took up a course in occupational health and nsafety in Toronto – Lambton College for 2 years. On completion of the course, he took up a job as a Quality Technician and gradually upgraded his career status into a Quality Auditor.
His passion for modelling and fashion still lingered fresh and brimming. In 2018, he took a few TikTok videos and photo shoots of himself but was shy to even showcase them to his friends or post them online. Just then, when things were dormant, opportunities began to knock on his doors. He did a costume model shoot auditioning for a well-known wedding attire brand in Canada – Samuktha Wedding Show in 2019 designed by James Vinz. Despite being a fresh face, Manas Savitha Madhu lured everyone with his fashion statement, sculpted physique and good looks.
His seasoned model face, fashion sense and well-toned physique caught the attention of Instagram users. The wedding show video went viral, he accrued 100k followers on TikTok and 23.8k followers on Instagram. There was no looking back for this irresistible charming model. He signed up contracts with Collab, a couple of renowned clothing brands in Malayalam and Tamil and for a Beard oil brand in Canada. He also ventured as a stylist and make-up artist for these photoshoots.
Drawn by his remarkable screen presence, he was booked for a musical album “Pandu Ninne ” in 2020, directed by Christy Varghese, Akshay Moncy pairing alongside Devi Sathi. He has also done his debut short film named, Let’s Break-up, which is currently making noise online, under the Director. Vipin Jonz & Alwin Mathew, the Assistant Director.
While most of Manas’ dreams are taking shape now, he still aspires to make his imprint in the movie world as an actor. Manas feels this is just a beginning and his vision to work on several masterpieces remains untamed and he has miles to go to be there.
