Deep-rooted love
From her earliest days, Roshni was enchanted by the art of storytelling and the allure of the stage. With a deep-rooted love for music instilled by her parents, she dedicated two years to its study, honing her singing prowess and paving the way for her future pursuits.
Academic journey
Roshni’s academic journey commenced at Nirmal Jyothi Central School, where her academic brilliance and artistic talents garnered admiration and accolades. Continuing her education at Vivekodayam Higher Secondary School, she etched her name among Kerala’s top students, achieving a perfect score of 100% in her Plus Two examinations. It was during this time she participated in Malayalam dramas, folk song renditions, and Vanchipattu (Boat Song) competitions, earning prestigious A-grade at state kalotsavam.
Passion
Driven by an insatiable thirst for self-expression, Roshni pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at St. Joseph’s College, Devagiri, Calicut. She also has a passion for acting leading her to take a role in a short film which is now streaming on Youtube. Her enthusiasm for anchoring is palpable, as evidenced by numerous Malayali events hosted by her in Canada.
Venturing into the realm of radio broadcasting, Roshni captivated audiences as a Radio Jockey at Radio Angelos, further fueling her passion for communications and public relations. In 2021, she embarked on a transformative journey to Fanshawe College in London, Canada, enrolling in the Public Relations and Corporate Communications program to refine her skills in public speaking and anchoring. Additionally, she became an integral part of an Indian music band “Jwala”, performing at various stages across Canada.
Beacon of inspiration
Today, Roshni stands as a beacon of inspiration, serving as a Social Media Specialist at a leading manufacturing company in Markham, Canada. She is also an Instagram content creator, producing videos that delve into the lives of international students, Canadian lifestyle, and various other topics. Grateful for the opportunities afforded to her in Canada, she embraces her roles as a singer, actor, and anchor, believing that her journey has only just begun.
Guided by her mantra, “Always work hard, and have fun in what you do”, she embodies the spirit of passion.
