Once upon a time in the vibrant city of Kozhikode, a little girl named Saandra Salim came into the world. However, destiny had something different in store for her. As a child, she was whisked away to the bustling city of Dubai, where her parents had settled. Little did she know that her life would be filled with music, rhythm, and an extraordinary journey.

Saandra’s love for dance began to blossom under the guidance of her mother, who herself was an avid dancer. Her mother taught her the first steps and sparked a fire within her that would burn bright for years to come. At the tender age of five, Saandra embarked on a classical dance journey, immersing herself in the enchanting world of Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam under the tutelage of RLV Shathikumar in Dubai.

As the years went by, Saandra’s passion for dance continued to grow. She dedicated herself to the art form, mastering the intricate movements and expressions that classical dance demanded. Even after moving to Kerala to complete her higher secondary education, she never let go of her beloved dance. In fact, her talent caught the attention of many when she became a semifinalist on Super Dancer Junior season 4 in 2012, aired on Amritha TV.

After completing her higher secondary education, Saandra decided to explore various dance forms beyond classical styles. She delved into the world of hip-hop, freestyle, Bollywood, and semi-classical dance forms. She is also trained in zumba. Her repertoire expanded, and her talent shone even brighter. But Saandra’s journey didn’t stop at dance alone.

In 2014, she enrolled at the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology in Kannur, where she studied Fashion and Communication. This added a new dimension to her creative abilities and opened doors to a career in content writing and graphic designing. Saandra’s artistic talents were not confined to just one medium; she could express herself through words and visuals as well.

Following her time in Bangalore, Saandra embarked on a new adventure in 2021 when she moved to Canada as a student. She pursued International Business Management at Seneca College, but her passion for dance remained unwavering. However, the initial days in a foreign land presented challenges. She struggled to find part-time jobs and like-minded friends. Yet, through the power of social media, she discovered a community of passionate individuals who shared her love for dance.

In 2022, Saandra furthered her knowledge by studying Social Media Marketing at Conestoga College in Kitchener. During the pandemic, she launched her Instagram and YouTube channel. Her captivating dance videos resonated with viewers, and she quickly gained a following of 35k on Instagram and 50k on YouTube.

Saandra’s talent and entrepreneurial spirit has now led her to establish “House of Revamp,” an organization dedicated to organizing and entertaining events in Kitchener and the GTA areas. What began as a platform for her own performances soon expanded to include classes in Zumba, Bollywood, Freestyle, and semi-classical dances. House of Revamp eventually plans to venture into photography and event management, covering a wide range of occasions such as baby showers, weddings, and birthday parties.

Saandra’s journey is an inspiration to people of her age group and beyond. She has shown that with hard work, dedication, and a passion for one’s craft, dreams can be turned into reality. Through her performances on stage and social media, she continues to touch the hearts of people, spreading joy and happiness wherever she goes.

Saandra’s favorite quote, “Stay humble. Be kind. Work hard,” serves as a constant reminder of the values she holds dear. Her humility, kindness, and unwavering work ethic have been the driving forces behind her success. As she continues to dance through life, Saandra Salim stands as a testament to the power of pursuing one’s passions and reaching for the stars.
