Soon after completing her engineering degree, Lakshmi embarked on a new chapter in her life. She married Vineeth S Nair, and together, they embarked on the journey of matrimony. Vineeth was employed in Qatar, and Lakshmi joined him in support of his career. While in Qatar, she also pursued her professional aspirations, adding a new layer to her ever-evolving story.
Amidst her flourishing career and personal life, Lakshmi’s family expanded with the joyous arrival of their daughter, Tanvi Vineeth Nair. As a mother, she wholeheartedly embraced the responsibilities of nurturing a growing family, all the while excelling in her professional pursuits.
In a remarkable display of determination, Lakshmi decided to further her academic qualifications by pursuing an M.Tech in Civil Engineering. While in Qatar, Lakshmi realized her dream of moving to Canada, a land brimming with opportunities for international students. As an individual determined to excel in her chosen field, she set her sights on studying construction project management in Canadore College. Her decision to pursue studies in her domain reflected her commitment to lifelong learning.
Like many newcomers to Canada, Lakshmi encountered challenges upon her arrival. Adjusting to a new country, educational system, and culture presented its own set of difficulties. In her pursuit of part-time work, Lakshmi found an avenue that allowed her to connect with the Malayali community in Canada. She joined Aaha Radio, a platform that provided her with the opportunity to serve as a Radio Jockey (RJ). Her role as an RJ allowed her to engage with her fellow Malayalis, bridge cultural gaps, and foster a sense of belonging within the community. This period of her life was marked by her dual roles as a diligent student and a passionate radio host.
Currently, Lakshmi Vineeth works as a Material Estimator full-time career in her chosen field with a part-time role as a Reporter for MC News. Her involvement in radio and hosting has opened doors to connect with well-known figures and leaders in Canada. She has had the privilege of interviewing prominent political figures, including Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre, and various opposition party leaders. Her hosting career is not just about conversation; it’s a platform for sharing stories, addressing issues, and fostering connections within the community.
