Hailing from the tranquil backwaters of Alappuzha, Kerala, Tinu Merin Thomas has always approached life with a sense of adventure and excitement. From her early days in Haripad to her current residence in Scarborough, Canada, Tinu’s journey speaks volumes about her resilience, ambition, and zest for life.
True Passion
Despite being an average student with little inclination towards sports during her school years, Tinu’s true passion resided in the healthcare field. Following the completion of her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy, Tinu embarked on a journey to the United Kingdom in 2017, accompanied by her mother, Annamma Thomas, to reunite with her father, T.M. Thomas, and spend quality family time together. Upon her return to India, she embarked on a fulfilling career as a clinical pharmacist at Pushpagiri Hospital, refining her skills and gaining valuable experience in patient care.
New Opportunities
In 2019, inspired by her sister Tinsu Susan Thomas’s relocation to Canada for project management, Tinu decided to explore new opportunities and pursue further studies in healthcare. Enrolling at Fanshawe College in London, Canada Tinu delved into Health System Management and Retirement Residence Management, broadening her knowledge and expertise in the field.
Online Community
Settling in Scarborough, Tinu found herself drawn to the lively realm of social media. Although she had been active on platforms like Facebook and Dubsmash since her school days, it was during the 2020 lockdown that she fully immersed herself in creating content on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. Through humorous skits, film scenes, and songs, Tinu swiftly garnered a following of over 50,000 across multiple platforms, becoming a beloved figure in the online community.
Aside from her digital pursuits, Tinu remains deeply connected to her cultural heritage. In 2023, she served as the program coordinator for the Kerala Culture Association, organizing events and festivities for occasions like Holi, Christmas, and Onam. Her creative talents were further acknowledged when she won a consolation prize in a talent show for her daring performance.
Adventurous Spirit
Beyond her professional and social engagements, Tinu’s adventurous spirit knows no bounds. From skydiving in Dubai to paragliding in Manali, India she thrives on exploring new destinations and immersing herself in diverse cultures. A passionate fan of Malayalam cinema, Tinu ensures she watches every new release on its premiere day without fail.

Tinu aims to advance her career in pharmacy while continuing to make a positive impact through her social media presence. She dreams of finding a life partner who mirrors her enthusiasm for adventure and travel, eagerly anticipating embarking on new journeys side by side.
