PARVATHY Viswanathan’s journey is an inspiring tale of resilience, love, and triumph over adversity. Born and raised in the picturesque town of Mavelikara in Alappuzha district, Kerala, Pravathy was a dedicated student from the start. Her academic pursuits led her to Pala Mar Augusthinose College, where she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration. Eager to delve deeper into the realms of finance and marketing, she pursued an MBA at TKM College in Kollam.
Professional Journey
Her professional journey took a significant turn when she moved to Pune to work at Infosys. After 2 years in 2014 she tied the knot with Sreeraj Sreedharan, welcoming their son, Karthik Sreeraj in 2016.
In 2019, seeking new horizons, Parvathy and Sreeraj decided to embark on an adventure and chose Canada as their new home. Their arrival in the midst of a freezing October marked the beginning of a new chapter. Almost immediately, they found employment in the field of accounting and began relishing the Canadian way of life.
Unexpected Turn
However, life took an unexpected turn in 2021 during an Onam celebration. Parvathy contracted an infection that led to a drastic reduction in her platelet count. Hospitalized for six months, she faced the challenges with courage and determination. Despite the lack of immediate family support in a new country, Parvathy not only recovered but also returned to work in 2023.
Life Beyond the Window
During her hospitalization, she found solace in writing and chronicled her experiences in a book titled “Life Beyond the Window.” This deeply personal narrative reflects her journey of overcoming physical and emotional hurdles in a new and unfamiliar environment. It speaks of resilience, the strength to face life’s adversities, and the support she found in her surroundings.
“Life Beyond the Window” is more than a book; it’s a testament to Parvathy’s indomitable spirit. Her story resonates not only with those who have faced health challenges but with anyone navigating the complexities of life in a new land.
